This privacy policy applies to users of the cannagrowers.ca website (the “Site”) which is offered by Cannabis Growers of Canada Inc. (“CGC”). This privacy policy is intended to inform you about the information that is collected from you when you visit the Site or otherwise engage with CGC; how this information may be used and disclosed; how you can control the use and disclosure of your information; and how your information is protected.

This privacy policy applies only to the Site and your interactions with CGC. If you wish to become a member of CGC, you may also be required to provide additional personal information, including but not limited to consenting to a personal background and/or criminal background check, for the purposes of verifying your status as engaged in the legal growing of medicinal marijuana in Canada.  Use of certain Site functions and access to certain content or features is restricted to members only.

Automatic information collection/ Cookies:

We may monitor traffic patterns, site usage and other related information pertaining to the Website.  Our Internet servers automatically collect IP addresses, the date and time of your visit to our Website, the pages on our Website that you visited, the searches you performed, and the referring URL that you came to our Website from.  We use this information to optimize our Website and the services we provide.  We use cookies to preserve your login and other site preferences for future visits, and to optimize your experience with our Website.  Cookies are small pieces of data which are stored on your computer to allow your Internet browser to remember something about a website.  At your option, you may turn off our cookies using the applicable features contained in your Internet browser; however, doing so may prevent you from accessing all or part of the Website.  We do not link your cookies to other personally identifiable information about you.

10. Children’s Guidelines

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected any personal information from a child under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from our database as quickly as possible.
